Frequently Asked Questions

Aren't DECA and FBLA similar? Why should I join DECA over an already-established business club?

Because DECA is more than just a business club. DECA offers students the opportunities to hone their skills in the sectors of marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, technology, public speaking, and much more...

  • While FBLA’s competition style encompasses tests, pre-judged projects and presentations, a majority of FBLA events comprises only of written examinations. DECA has a more diversified competition style., which truly test a student's skill and aptitude.

  • DECA meetings will be planned to help students prepare to the best of their ability before competitions. Unlike FBLA, DECA will meet much more frequently.

  • The atmosphere we attempt to provide at DECA is more educational and fun!
